4th Festivities

So Emrie had her first airplane ride on June 30th and needless to say I was a little nervous. Luckily we were only flying to Dallas so it was a short flight. We got on the plane and the only seats that were available were middle seats and let me tell you when you have a baby you get a lot of "seats taken" looks. So I just picked a spot between two ladies (figuring they would be a little more sympathetic to a crying baby) and it ended up being a good choice because they were very nice. Emrie did great and didn't cry at all just a lot of happy squeals and she really enjoyed reading the newspaper with the ladies on either side of me.

Emrie and I hung out with the Livingston side of the family the first part of the week and got to go to "resort" Lifetime fitness. Let me tell you that place is amazing. Here is Emrie hanging out with her Mimi by the pool.

Emrie loves her Aunt Lou and Uncle Cody even though Uncle Cody made her cry...but it is okay because so did Uncle Dan. :)

For the weekend we went and stayed at the Wardlaw house and got to see lots of family and go swimming in the pool. She wasn't a big fan of the float I got her but hopefully she will be as she gets bigger.

Emrie also got to meet her new cousin Tyler. Even though he was born 2 pounds bigger than Emrie he just seemed so tiny. It was hard to imagine that she was ever smaller than that. Here are all the aunts and uncles (minus Andy).

All in all it was a great 4th of July with wonderful friends and family. We are so blessed.
