Seaside.Florida

Sorry for the brief hiatus of blogging. Emrie's most recent adventure was our trip to Seaside, Florida with the Livingston side of the family. It was the first time that the whole family was together in a really long time and Emrie enjoyed getting to know her cousins better as well as learning to not cry when Uncle Cody or Uncle Brad looked at her. She definitely warmed up to them by the end of the week.

So Emrie is her mothers daughter for sure because she loved the beach. She would even let us wade out in the water with pretty big waves and she thought they were funny...didn't even mind the occasional face splash of salt water. She enjoyed playing in the sand and eating it when mom or dad weren't looking.

My mom's sister's family came to seaside for part of the week as well and they all brought their kids and at one point we had 6 kids taking over the place. Oh how times have changed. I didn't get a lot of pictures with all the kids but Emrie had two matching swimsuits with her 2nd cousin Charlotte and we had to get a picture. so here is a picture of the bathing beauties.



We also went into town a couple of times once to get snow cones (don't worry Emrie didn't get one). Kyle gave her a bite of his and she was not a fan.



Clara loved hers...she didn't care what flavor it just had to be blue.



We did some family pictures on the beach one evening in the standard white and khaki garb. We haven't gotten the professional ones back yet but here are a few that I took.







We had a GREAT trip and feel very blessed by the family that we have and are thankful for opportunities like these. It was really fun to take Emrie to a place that has many years of memories and somewhere that I have been going to since I was her age. Here's to many more years.
